New Functional Nutrition education events announced
27 July 2017
We're pleased to announce that the Autumn term's Functional Nutrition seminars for healthcare practitioners will focus on personalised approaches to musculoskeletal health.
In an ageing population, within which sedentary lifestyles, processed food diets and obesity are common, it’s hardly surprising that health problems to do with the bones, joints, muscles and associated tissues are on the rise.
There is also a growing awareness that an epidemic of chronic, low-level inflammation may be at the root of debilitating musculoskeletal conditions. And that finding the cause of the inflammation is the only reliable way of helping sufferers to gain long-lasting improvement.
In this full day event, we’ll be looking at the types of physiological imbalances that can contribute to common situations of pain, fatigue and disability in the muscles, joints and bones, including medical conditions such as gout, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, auto-immune arthritis and fibromyalgia.
