Nutritional Support in Long COVID

25 November 2021

If you're a healthcare practitioner - in primary care or in complementary care - join us for our webinar on nutritional support in Long COVID on Tuesday 7 December.

Long COVID is an informal term used to describe the long-term sequelae following SARS-CoV-2 infection. Sufferers are typically burdened with a range of symptoms still affecting their lives several weeks after the acute infection. Such symptoms may affect a wide range of body systems, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological and/or musculoskeletal. However, the condition remains poorly understood, and therefore hard to manage.

This webinar discusses some of the key nutritional aspects to consider when supporting clients suffering from Long COVID. We’ll look at the types of underlying biological imbalances that are being discussed in the literature and we’ll include ideas for useful laboratory testing. We will then explore nutritional interventions, focusing on the use of nutriceutical supplements that may add real efficacy to baseline recommendations for a healthy diet.

As always, there will a 30 minutes Q & A session after the one-hour lunchtime webinar, where you can get involved, ask questions and//or share experiences.
